2 days

Easy

Embark on a 2‑day desert adventure from Marrakech to Zagora. Cross the Atlas Mountains, visit UNESCO‑listed Ait Ben Haddou, enjoy a camel ride at sunset, and spend the night in a desert bivouac.

If you are staying in Marrakech for more than a weekend, a desert trip is one of the most authentic experiences you can enjoy. This 2‑day tour takes you through the High Atlas Mountains, the Draa Valley, and the desert landscapes of Zagora, with a night in a traditional bivouac.

On the first day, travel across the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2260m) and admire Berber villages clinging to the mountainsides. Stop at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its role in films such as Gladiator, The Mummy, and Babel. After lunch in a local restaurant, continue south through pre‑Sahara landscapes before arriving in Zagora. In the evening, enjoy a camel trek across the dunes at sunset and spend the night in a desert bivouac under the stars.

On the second day, after breakfast, return to Marrakech via the Draa Valley and Ouarzazate. Visit the Kasbah of Taourirt before concluding your desert adventure back in Marrakech.

This tour combines culture, history, and adventure, offering travelers an unforgettable desert experience
