Located just 64 km from Marrakech, Imlil is a charming village at the foothills of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in Morocco and North Africa (4167 meters). Along the way, you’ll pass through the gorges of Asni, green valleys, and authentic Berber villages surrounded by terraced crops. If you’re lucky, you may visit a weekly Berber market in Tahnaout or Asni.

Once in Imlil, you can hire a local mountain guide for a short trek or join a mule ride to the village of Armed, where panoramic views of the Atlas await. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant or a traditional Berber guest house, offering an authentic cultural experience.
